The Catalyst Production Module allows users with the appropriate permissions to run their own productions right from the CR interface. You have the ability to identify and folder documents for productions, convert and endorse them in a variety of formats, create load files, QC and correct errors and provide delivery instructions.

To begin, users will create a production project and provide their specifications. Then, they will select the documents to be produced and the system starts the conversion process. Upon completion of the conversions, the user will be provided with folders containing documents that would not convert or encountered some sort of problem in the process. Users will be able to resolve the problems by inserting placeholders or removing the document from the production.

The module allows users to add rules so that documents that are identified by the selected criteria are placed in a special folder. For example, a rule may be that any document tagged as Privileged, goes into a folder where the user can review and decide if the document should be included. Finally, the user is presented with a QC step to see what the production documents will look like and review any unwanted documents to be replaced with an intentionally left blank (ILB) page.  Lastly, the user will provide delivery instructions thereby completing the production.
