OnRamp

Catalyst OnRamp facilitates the transfer of processed or unprocessed data from your network to the Catalyst network. It works in conjunction with our Fast Track® automated processing and loading utility.

OnRamp is an executable file written by Catalyst and installed on your desktop, server or virtual machine and uses your existing Insight or CR login credentials.

Point OnRamp to data you want to prepare for Fast Track. OnRamp automatically creates compressed RAR files of up to approximately 4 GBs or 10,000 document units and saves them to your computer. Once your RAR files are ready, you can drop them to the FTP for processing or loading through Fast Track.

System Requirements

OnRamp is loaded behind your firewall and requires: 

  • A computer with 1 GB or more of RAM and enough hard drive space to hold the compressed load files created by OnRamp. (For best performance, please reserve twice the size of the data being loaded).
  • Windows OS (XP or later), 32- or 64-bit.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0.
  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package.
  • A broadband Internet connection.
