Catalyst CR

Fast Track Data Loading

Guidelines for Preparing and Transmitting Data

The Catalyst Fast Track program provides a way to quickly and consistently upload data to your site. The Fast Track process uses a secure FTP where you simply transfer the loadfile and data and the upload process begins. In practical terms, this changes the upload turnaround time from days to hours. Catalyst guarantees that 25GB of data can be uploaded to each site in a 24 hour time frame.

To qualify for the Fast Track, Catalyst requires that you submit your loadfile and data via FTP. The load file must be provided in an approved MDB (.mdb, .accdb) file format. Documents must be delivered in a RAR or ZIP compression format.

The MDB file you deliver must match a preexisting “mapping” on your site. If it does not, the automation will fail. A mapping is a reference that Catalyst uses to assign the fields in your specific loadfiles to specific fields in our database. There is no limit to the number of mappings that can exist per site.

To submit a mapping, please follow these steps:

1. Create an email addressed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the following information:

      • Site Name
      • Type of Mapping Request: Upload Mapping, Data Overlay Mapping, or File Overlay Mapping
      • If a Data Overlay, list each field and identify if it is to be an “overlay” or an “append”.

2. Attach the MDB that you want to have mapped to the email.

3. Send the email.

Please allow 24 hours for any mapping request to be completed.  We also ask that new mapping requests are made at least 24 hours prior to sending the documents; otherwise, hourly charges will apply.

The Fast Track automation process checks the loadfile for any errors, and a success or failure notice will be emailed within minutes. This notification also gives you the opportunity to correct any errors and resubmit the files as needed.  We also have technicians available to make these corrections, however charges may apply.

If you are using a standard site, use this MDB file as the base for your load file: Standard MDB Load File Container.

Please also refer to the Data Transfer Log if needed.
