Why have an Information Security Policy?
Security is a top priority at Catalyst Repository Systems. A central part of our business involves making client data accessible over the Internet. Since the Internet is not a trustworthy environment, we must take all reasonable precautions to make sure that the data we store for our clients cannot be accessed or intercepted by unauthorized individuals. This mission is critical. There is no room for error in this undertaking.
The purpose of this document is to set forth our security policies and procedures. Each Catalyst employee must read and sign this document, reflecting both an understanding of the importance of security to the Company and its clients, and their personal commitment to follow these procedures.
